Built in Dec 1946 Photographed on 6th Oct 1956, with a stopping train from Bradford to Hawes. this 2-6-2 tank engine was the fifth in the class to be built at Crewe  for the LMS Railway.  The Ivatt Class 2MT-A  was designed by George Ivatt for light mixed traffic.  A total of 130 were built at Crewe and Derby between 1946 & 1952. On the formation of BR in 1948 it was shedded at Hellifield.  Its last shed was Bank Hall. Withdrawn from service in Feb 1964 & disposed of in Jan 1965.
